The Widow’s Mite is the name given to a home consisting of 10 children rescued from an abusive orphanage in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The vision of the ‘Widow’s Mite’, Luke 21:1-4, was planted by God within Joyce that if she would ask for the Widow’s Mite (identified as $10/month minimum) He would provide the increase by calling many to join in the battle. 100% of these funds go to providing housing, food, clothes, medical care, etc. for these abandoned 10. Joyce & Bob are trying to provide a home, a family for these kids and to discipline them in God’s ways so they will have an opportunity to affect the world for Him.
